Festive Season Drive: Mathura Administration Seizes Spurious Dairy Products Worth ₹2.5 Lakh In Shergarh Raid; FIR Lodged




UTTAR PRADESH, INDIA: 
Ahead of upcoming festive celebrations, the Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration executed a major raid targeting illegal dairy adulteration in the Shergarh area under Chhata division, Mathura. Acting on specific intelligence regarding synthetic dairy manufacturing, enforcement officials deployed two dedicated inspection teams across rural units.

During the operation, authorities seized and destroyed roughly 2,000 liters of contaminated milk alongside 500 kg of spurious paneer, with the total value of the destroyed products estimated at ₹2.50 lakh. Officials recovered industrial chemical additives, including soybean refined oil, skimmed milk powder, Tinopal powder, and sodium hydrosulfite. Nine samples were dispatched for chemical laboratory testing, and an FIR was formally registered at the Shergarh police station to initiate legal proceedings against the perpetrators.
